Theresa Goltermann

Theresa Goltermann is a career middle school STEM educator and FIRST Lego League Robotics coach certified in science, social studies, computer science, and technology education. Theresa has been a facilitator with CodeVA since 2021. She is a lifelong learner and a passionate advocate for equity and access to computer science and STEM education.

Qualifications

Theresa is a DoD STEM Ambassador, a LEGO Education Ambassador, and holds a micro-credential in CS Leadership from NSF's CSForAll. Theresa was the Virginia Air Force Association 2014 Teacher of the Year and a Virginia 2018 Teacher of the Year finalist representing the Tidewater region. She holds a BS in Secondary Science Education from UCF, an MA in Educational Leadership and Administration from GWU, and an Education Specialist degree from Regent University, where she is also a doctoral candidate in Educational Technology and Online Learning.
